The fresh Berlin female multicultural formation FREE SPIRITZ was founded by the Nigerian-German singer Angela Ordu and has fun transforming many musical styles, their own compositions and well-known songs from Nigeria, Ghana & Brazil into groovy, danceable music. Angela writes Reggae and Afrobeat songs, including her own lyrics.
After the concerts there are usually “Ladies Jam Sessions”.
At the age of 35, Angela Ordu suffered a stroke and the autoimmune disease LUPUS, which forced her to interrupt her career for many years.
She is now celebrating her comeback.
FREE SPIRITZ is represented by PINC MUSIC, the platform for inclusive music.

Angela Chinyere Ordu, also known as Chi Chi Ordu and January Ordu, was born in Saarbrücken in 1971 with Igbo-Nigerian parents and began singing before she could walk… She spent her childhood and youth between Germany, the USA, Nigeria and Great Britain. Back in Germany in the early 1990s, she played in a cover band for five years while studying business administration in Frankfurt am Main and began writing songs.
